Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies
[Free of gluten, dairy, soy, refined sugar, grains & junk]
Ingredients:
1/3 cup unsweetened almond butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract @simplyorganicfoods
1/2 tsp melted coconut oil @spectrumorganic
Cinnamon
Mineral salt @redmondrealsalt
3/4 cup almond flour @bobsredmill
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 signature dark chocolate bar @evolvedchocolate
Preheat the oven to 350°. Combine the almond butter, maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla extract together in a bowl. Then fold in the salt, cinnamon, baking soda, almond flour and chocolate pieces. (You could also save the chocolate pieces and place them on top of each cookie dough ball before baking!) Make 1 tbs cookie dough balls and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes and let cool.
