Paleo Dog Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • ~1 1/2 cups coconut flour

  • 1/2 cup 100% pumpkin puree

  • 1 cup wild caught salmon, canned

  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil

  • 4 eggs

Instructions:

  • mix all ingredients in a food processor until a ball of “dough” forms easily. (if dough is too wet, add more flour)

  • place dough in an airtight container in the fridge for an hour

  • roll dough between two sheets of parchment paper until ~1/4 inch thick using a rolling pin

  • preheat oven to 350ºF

  • using a cookie cutter of your choice- cut your dough into shapes

  • place cut dough onto parchment lined baking sheets in an even layer

  • bake for ~25 minutes

  • If treats are not crisp, dry and golden brown after cooling a bit- place the biscuits onto a baking rack on the baking sheet and continue baking until treats are completely dry. About 15-20 minutes depending on your oven- keep checking so they don’t burn

  • store in an airtight container
